Your best way to get there might go along the lines of your preferred route to Trinity River Audubon Center since PBS is less than 2 miles north of TRAC. Car pooling is always encouraged.
Currently, Dallas Trinity Watershed Management requests that public Big Spring visitations be restricted to dates and times of announced or coordinated NTMN and Stream Team activities and other community activities coordinated through TWM. From Dallas on Hwy 175: Go east on Hwy 175, Exit Lake June Rd. From ramp, immediately turn right on Pemberton Hill Rd. - Go south approx. 1/3 mile. Enter THP North Maintenance Gate, 925 PH Rd., on right (immediately south of 911 Pemberton residence). Do Not enter through THP 811 Main Entrance. *

From Dallas on Jim Miller Rd OR Buckner Blvd.: Go south on Jim Miller Rd. OR Buckner Blvd., turn right on Lake June Rd; Follow Lake June Rd. across Hwy. 175 to the end of Lake June Rd. at Pemberton Hill Rd; Turn left (south). Enter THP North Maintenance Gate, 925 PH Rd. on right (immediately south of 911 Pemberton residence). Do Not enter through THP 811 Main Entrance. *

From Dallas on I-45: Go east on GTF Way (Loop 12), after crossing Trinity River, turn at the first left, Pemberton Hill Rd., go north approx. 1.25 miles; Enter THP North Maintenance Gate, 925 PH Rd., on left (immediately north of THP Main Entrance and south of 911 Pemberton residence). Do Not enter through THP 811 Main Entrance. *

From TRAC: Go west on GTF Way (Loop12), before crossing Trinity River, turn right (north) on Pemberton Hill Rd., go approx 1.25 miles; Enter THP North Maintenance Gate, 925 PH Rd., on left (immediately north of THP Main Entrance and south of 911 Pemberton residence). Do Not enter through THP 811 Main Entrance. *
* 925 Pemberton Hill Rd., Big Spring Entrance gates are normally locked, especially after hours or when no docent events have been pre-scheduled.
DO NOT TRESPASS! 911 Pemberton Hill Rd. is private property. Please close all gates behind you and give due respect to the homeowners.
